INDENTATION RESISTANCE TESTER / PENETROMETER TESTER
The procedure in accordance with these standards is used to determine the indentation resistance of plastic coated pipes and formed pieces under the influence of weight and temperature.
The Indentation resistance tester(Bath) which is highly useful for testing of indentation hardness or penetration testing of coatings for polypropylene PP and polyethylene PE coating material at above ambient temperature up to 90 deg cent.
The ability of coating to withstand penetration resistance or deformation force, without breaking through the coating into the substrate.
It has indentation of a punch in the coating under fixed conditions of temperature and load.
