ONE SIDED BIRD FILM APPLICATORS SIIN - 3550:
Made of high-grade, corrosion-resistant stainless steel using modern technology of metallurgy with precision grinding machine.
The accuracy of the Gap Depth is ±1.0µm (50µm and below) and or 2% of Full Scale.
The Applicators have a flat edged prismatic body making them suitable for coatings applied to a flat & relatively strong substrate and easy to clean gauges.

EIGHT PATH FILM APPLICATORS SIIN – 3460
Made of high-grade, corrosion-resistant stainless steel using modern technology of metallurgy with precision grinding machine.
To provide eight film thicknesses in one gauge, Simply rotate the applicator to the required thickness.
A small quantity (depending on length and thickness of film required) of the material to be checked is placed on the inside of the channel near the correct opening for the thickness desired.
The applicator is then drawn down over the chart or other surface and a uniform thickness of film is produced for observation and test.

CUBE FILM APPLICATOR SIIN – 1103

These small applicators have the benefit of two gaps machined into their working edges. They form very reproducible, parallel sided films, often used when comparing different samples.
Suitable for drying time recorders and also the Minimum Film Forming Temperature Bar.

SAG TESTER (APPLICATOR) SIIN - 4207
Made of high-grade, corrosion-resistant stainless steel using modern technology of metallurgy with precision grinding machine.
The straight scraper has 10 notches of increasing clearance.
The Sag Tester is used to establish a coating’s resistance to sag due to gravity.
A contrast chart is immediately placed in a vertical position with the thinnest film at the top.
The thickness at which the stripes join indicates the tendency to sag.

SPIRAL WIRE BAR COATER SIIN – 4360/4361
The wire and its rod are made of stainless steel, which are corrosion-resistance.
The coaters are used to apply a predetermined thickness for coatings with high levelling characteristics.
A coating (Paint or Ink) is being drawdown by a known thickness wire-rod applicator over a substrate (e.g. Black/White Test Chart, Glass or Wood Panel, etc.).
The motion of the drawdown is done by gripping the 2 edges of the applicator or by using the Holder.

Made of anodised aluminium and Stainless steel knife blade with precision ground edge.
The operator sets the blade clearance by adjusting the micrometers.
Suitable for high-precision manual application of high viscosity fluids onto relatively firm substrates.
